General Purpose Hotplates

This range of hotplates has been specifically designed for the general laboratory. The robust top casing, which is heated by an incoloy sheathed rod element, has angled sides to discard accidental spillage away from the base plinth which houses the temperature control and other electrical components

Two red baffle plates are positioned between the top casing and the base plinth to give extra protection from spillage and heat transfer. Temperature control is either by simmerstat or thermostat depending on the model chosen.

Circular Hotplates

Circular hotplates are available with or without temperature controls and with cast aluminium or PTFE coated top surface.

The body of the hotplate is cast aluminium with three integral cast feet to stand on bench and screw "vee" clamp for use on retort stand.
